The Cape is a province of Urcea. It is located on Urcea's west coast and makes up the southern end of the region known as the Valley.
It is the most populous Urcean province and the fourth most populous subdivision of Urcea after Urceopolis, Harren, and Gassavelia.

The Cape would typically be considered a Solidarity Party-leaning swing province. However, the immense and continued popularity of Livio Iarnán, who is from the Cape, has meant that the province voted overwhelmingly for Solidarity during the recent elections he was party leader in, especially the 2030 Urcean elections, in which he won 71% of the vote. The predominantly suburban province, however, has many demographics in common with Pact-leaning provinces such as Eastglen, and prior to Iarnán's arrival it was mostly evenly split between the Pact, Solidarity, and left-wing parties which were more successful in the Cape's cities. After Iarnán's retirement, most pundits project that his continuing legacy will mean that Solidarity will retain significant popularity in the province over the medium-term. Even with Iarnán's impact, the Pact remains viable in some parts of the province. In the 2025 Urcean elections, which were a national landslide for Solidarity, the Pact still managed to win in 11 of the province's 26 Conshilía Daoni districts, indicating a level of competitiveness in the Cape.
