Cartadania, officially known as the Federative Republic of Cartadania (Cartadanian: República Federativa da Cartadania), is a sovereign country located on the Caridon Peninsula of Sarpedon, with territories spanning across the globe. Bordered by Caphiria along its only land borders, the country has an area of 4,122,251 square kilometers (1,591,610 sq mi), making it the fifth-largest nation in the world. With a population of approximately 378 million people, it is the second-most populous nation in Sarpedon and ninth worldwide. Cartadania's largely tropical climate features Mediterranean zones, particularly in the sheltered bays, which are tempered by cooler coastal currents, tributaries, and the Carina Bay. In addition to its mainland territories, Cartadania also includes insular areas near Crona, such as the state of Solemia, and Polynesia, including the state of Lotoa, as well as Alshar, with the territory of Haujão. The country also has territories in Sarpedon, including Providência, Santa Domenica, and Santa Elena.

Cartadania is a high-income, highly developed country that owes its success to a robust mixed economy and strong economic growth over the years. Its large size has allowed it to maintain stability in the region, and its citizens enjoy a very high level of human development, including the second-longest life expectancy in the world, surpassed only by Burgundie. Cartadania is a major player in global economic, military, cultural, and diplomatic affairs, and is widely considered a global power. As of 2032, the country's economy is the fourth-largest in the world by both nominal GDP and GDP (PPP), with a total value of approximately $28.5 trillion. The country's economy is also one of the world's fastest-growing major economies, due in large part to reduced barriers to entry in the economy and relaxing tax laws. The national development bank of Cartadania plays an essential role in the country's economic growth, and its diplomatic outreach and support programs to help emerging and young economies have earned it worldwide recognition.

Cartadania has played a key role in the formation and membership of various international organizations, including ARGUS, the Community of Lusophone Nations, the League of Nations, and the Union of Sarpedonian States. Additionally, the country was also a member of the now-defunct Levantia and Odoneru Treaty Association. As a great power in Sarpedon, Cartadania asserts its global influence and is viewed by some analysts as having the potential to attain superpower status in the future. Moreover, Cartadania is renowned as a major breadbasket, being a leading producer of crops such as coffee, oranges, and sugarcane, particularly in its more agrarian south. In fact, the country has held the title of the world's largest coffee producer for at least the past 270 years. These agricultural industries have played a significant role in the country's economic growth and international trade relationships.

Cartadania's diverse cultural heritage reflects influences from various groups, including indigenous peoples, Latin settlers, Taínean migrants, and immigrants from Crona and the Polynesian Sea. This has resulted in one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse countries in the world at the personal level, while still maintaining a distinctive national identity overall. As one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries, Cartadania boasts a rich biodiversity, with its territory encompassing the Satherian rainforest, tropical grassland, and coastlines along several major seas as well as high-altitude areas with markedly cooler climates. Its dense biodiversity makes it one of the most biodiverse countries per square kilometer in the world. (Full article...)

Providência, officially the Commonwealth of Providência (Cartadanian: Comunidade de Providência; Charentais: Communauté de Providence) is an insular territory of Cartadania, located in the southern Odoneru Ocean. It has a population of 221,317, making it the least populous territory as well as least populous first-level division of Cartadania. Despite this, due to having an area of approximately 362.6 square kilometres (140.0 sq mi), Providência is also the second-most densely populated first-level division of Cartadania as well, with 610.4 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,581 inhabitants per square mile).

A territory of first class, Providência was the first division to enter the union as a territory and not as a state, joining 1684, earlier than the creation of Alahuela itself. Though originally used as a military installation, the island is primarily a tourist destination today. Inhabited by northern Caphiric people since 370BC, and prior to that by Adonerii, Providência was annexed by Cartadanian navigators much later in the mid-to-late 17th century and claimed for the Republic, although some historians speculate much earlier annexation circa the Verona Vermillion Acts in the 15th century. The University of Porta Bianca (UPB) is a public research university in Kairi, Porta Bianca, Cartadania. It is the flagship university of Porta Bianca and is one of the oldest universities in Cartadania outside of the Luson region. As of 2026, UPB's student body is the largest in Porta Bianca and one of the largest in Cartadania. UPB's designation as a land, sea, and space grant institution–the only university in Porta Bianca to hold all three designations–reflects a range of research with ongoing projects funded by organizations such as the Cartadanian National Aerospace Administration (AANC), the Federal Health Institutes, the Federal Science Foundation, and the Office of Naval Research. The school's students, alumni—over a half-million strong—and sports teams are known as Olympians (although some female-majority sports use "Sirens"). The UPB Olympians athletes compete in 18 varsity sports as a member of the West Coast Conference.

The main campus is one of the largest in Cartadania, spanning a discontiguous area of 941.6 hectares (2,327 acres) of the city's Education City, Miramar, and Waterside districts. About a quarter of the student body lives on campus. UPB has more than 1,000 officially recognized student organizations and activities. Many students also observe the traditions, which govern daily life, as well as special occasions, including sports events. Working with various UPB-related agencies, the school has a direct presence in each of the 34 parishes in Porta Bianca, as well as some at the metropole and in Cartadania's Taínean and Kindredian territories. The university offers degrees in more than 150 courses of study through ten colleges and houses 21 research institutes. (Full article...)

Adriana in 2016

Adriana Andréia Dutra (Cartadanian pronunciation: [adɾiˈɐnɐ]; born 24 February 1988) is a Cartadanian singer, businesswoman, fashion designer, and actress. She is known for embracing various musical styles and reinventing her image throughout her career. Born and raised in Rosslyn, Verona, Adriana signed with Petalstone Music in 2011 to pursue a music career.

Adriana earned significant recognition following the release of her first two studio albums No Love Allowed (2005) and Focus (2006), both of which were influenced by Latin and Taínean music and peaked within the top ten of the Diamond 100 chart. Adriana's third studio album, From Bad to Worse (2023), incorporated more elements of dance-pop and catapulted her to greater stardom, establishing her status as a leading figure in the music industry. Adriana extended her fusion of pop, dance and R&B on her next four studio albums, Ascendant (2010), Unstoppable (2011), Midnight Sun (2012) and Award winner Shameless (2013). All four releases incorporated experimentation of various musical styles and consolidated Adriana's international chart success, Shameless being her first number-one album in Cartadania. Her eighth studio album, Summer (2018), showcased her control over artistic creativity. It became her second Cartadania number-one album. Many of the songs of the album have a summertime vibe, as hinted by the title of the album. (Full article...)
