The Office of the Courts is one of Faneria's eight top-level government agencies, and is responsible for the administration of criminal justice, small claims, and adjudicating civil court cases, as well as lower-level civil rights cases. It works very closely with the Office of State Security, which manages the national police forces and correctional facilities, and is technically subordinate to the National Audit Council.
