Legal usage
Legally, the Burgoignesc Thalattocracy is the legal, cultural, and political totally of the lands administered by the nation of Burgundie as defined by both the Burgoignesc Code of Laws, Temporal Sins, and Their Punishments and the Consitution of Burgundie.
It is inclusive of the following Constituent Countries and their subdivisions:
- Ile Burgundie;
- Notrestran;
- Faramount;
- Equitorial Ostiecia; and
- the Constituent Country equivalent, the Burgoignesc Overseas Representative Assembly (BORA)
- as well as the Candidate Jurisdiction for BORA Inclusion of Iles Evangeline.
Cultural usage
Culturally, the Burgoignesc Thalattocracy refers to a Burgosphere, or the countries or national subdivisions in which Burgundie, its economy, culture, history, language, or politics remain a strong influence. Essentially nations once part of the Burgoignesc Colonial Empire.
