Fleet modernization

In 2002, AiReal, through the Ministry of External Affairs, made a deal with Vallejar to sell them 20 MD-11s, 20 A340s, 15 A340-200s, and 15 A340-600s, between 2002 and 2007 as they modernized their fleet. The deal is said to have jump started the Vallejaran aviation industry and was widely regarded with good press around the world.
