Arcerion and Burgundie also have several modern collective defense agreements. These cover wide ranging issues such as intelligence sharing, maritime sovereignty, training and joint basing, as well as co-funding research products to maximize their industrial and defense bases for mutual benefit.

Burgundie is the only non-Cronan observe of the Cronan Union, an economic and defense partnership that has many of the major Occidental powers in South Crona. Burgundie has also participated in joint exercises hosted by the Cronan Union, as well as contributing ships, aircraft, and personnel for anti-piracy and counter-terrorism tasks in South Crona, the Polynesian Sea, and most recently the Albion Sea in support of Arcerion's gas and drilling rights.

While Arcerion and Burgundie have no signed collective or mutual defense agreement, there is significant progress and rights for it, as they have traditionally supported eachother's defense and secuirty ventures throughout the modern and post-Great War era. Despite international pressures and unfavourable Levantine support, Burgundie supported Arcerion through the Fourth Bush War, both of its conflicts in Istrenya, the Telekonese Conflict, as well as with consistent border and maritime tensions involving the Cape.

Arcerion also joined the Burgundie-led modern AVISO program, which aims to provide new frigates and corvettes for the Royal Arcerion Naval Service, including rebuilding the nation's atrophied shipbuilding capacity into the 2020s and 2030s.

Arcerion also maintains a Joint Base in Equatorial Osticea, where it maintains a sizable portion of its surface fleet, as well as a standing Brigade Group. The joint base also hosts a number of schools, notably the Burgoignesc Airborne School, which is is commanded and largely staffed by members of the Arcerion Parachute Regiment. Concurrent to this, Burgundie staffs the Jungle Warfare School which is staffed by members of the BURG PUT A UNIT HERE and members of the Royal Easthampton Borderers. Arcerion also outsourced a sizeable chunk of its naval officer and staff programs to the Burgoignesc Navy, as it is one of the most experienced and modern in Ixnay. Burgundie trains all the surface warfare officers and a sizeable contingent of the Royal Arcerion Naval Service since the 1990s. Arcerion runs the subsurface attack submarine program as it only operates diesel-electric vessels, whereas Burgundie manages the remainder of the submarine and subsurface warfare programme. Arcerion also bases the majority of its expeditionary maritime fleet there, including the ACS Kurst carrier battlegroup.

Burgundie also rotates a brigade through the Arcerion Maneuver Training Centre, as the wide open plains of Northlea Governorate allow for large brigade-sized live fire movements that are difficult to train for in Levantia. As well, Arcerion's recent experiences in the Telekonese Conflict and the war against Varshan (also known as the Final War of the Deluge) means that it is the most prominent land force in Crona for modern mechanized doctrine.
