During a visit to Venceia, Caphiria in 1973, Caphirian Crown Prince Raphael, convinced Burgoignesc Crown Prince Maurice Palacin to buy up land in an underdeveloped coastal town that Raphael hoped to turn into a mecca for beach-side discotheques and the party culture in general. The impressionable Burgoignesc prince, bewildered by the grandeur of the Caphirian court set about the creation of a real estate investment firm. The following year, Raphael was crowned as the Imperator and invited Crown Prince Maurice Palacin as a guest of honor. Caesar Raphael used the Burgoignesc money as well as Caphirian investments and turned Malta into an Ixbiza.
Maurice continued his investment in Malta until his death in 2002. In 1987, his son Crown Prince Pasqual took over the ownership of the company and began diversifying their assets. At first, he expanded the real estate holdings into other countries but by the late 1990s he was also consolidating the royal stakes in companies and their stocks under the Palacin Holdings banner. When Pasqual took over from his father, he greatly expanded the company's power by putting the royal families inherited lands under the company's assets and making infrastructure investment, lending and wealth management for other nobles a part of the company portfolio.

N/A | 2002-present | $1.2 billion to date | Communist hardliners have at times protested, picketed, and attacked Burgoignesc interests in Puertego for undermining the communist system of the country. Hoewever, the number of applicants to work in these manufactories has always exceeded the number of open jobs. The complexes are heavily guarded by Puertegoan soldiers and police as it is an excellent source of revenue for the government. It is also controversial that the hotel is not available to local Puertegoans, it is primarily used by the Puertegoan elite and foreign business types doing business in the country. | As part of the compensation packages for workers of these manufactories their families are allowed to live on campus, their children can go to the Burgoignesc International School. |

Formed in 1993, Elite Accomodations Group was designed to save, restore, and operate grand hotels throughout the Burgoignesc thatalossacry. In 2016, it expanded its portfolio to include megayacht stays.
BurgunArms Hospitality Group
The BurgunArms Hospitality Group is a subsidiary of Palacin Holdings focused on buying whole or portions of small towns that have lost their primary industry with the aim of converting them into albergo diffusos. Albergo diffusos started in the mid 1990s in Burgundie in Roln was the mining jobs continued to disappear. A royal development grant was sought to create one in the early 2010s and the Royal Treasury saw the potential to save towns, employ citizens, and make some money. A number of laws had to be altered to allow the crown to own whole municipalities, something it had been banned from doing in 1848 as part of the People’s Spring. The changes allowed for a company to own the municipality on behalf of the crown (Palacin Holdings) and only for the purpose of commerce not direct governance. Therefore, despite being a single hotel, some albergo diffuso villages also have to elect officials whose duties are primarily ceremonial.
BurgunArms albergo diffuso villages also have the unique distinction of not having public services and their police, fire, and public works are provided by private contractors.
Dubrea, Roln
Dubrea, Roln- a quaint whole village albergo diffuso set in the southern border mountains between Burgundie and Kuhlfros. Dubrea used to be a village of 326 with its primary industry being sheep farming. Its population dwindled until it was bought by BurgunArms in 2013. The hotel offers hiking, mountain biking, skiing excursions as well as thermal bathing, and alpine spas. Pasqual I is the Lord-Mayor of Dubrea.
Tippelee, Roln
- Tippelee, Roln- a sprawling multi-community lakeside albergo diffuso set in the alpine lakes of Roln. Tippelee was founded as a Derian military camp in the 1240s and has been the site of a monastery since 1521. Tippelee and the surrounding hamlets struggled in the 1990s as they lacked the commercial power to sustain themselves. When they were purchased in 2019, Tippelee and its 4 neighboring hamlets had 8 residents, aside from the monks in the monastery. The hotel offers canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and fishing. Each night the hotel also hosts lakefront bonfires in each community for its guests. Haddock Palacin is the Mayor of Tippelee, and his wife Bridgette of Urcea is the Deputy-Mayor.
While not part of the hotel, the monastery also offers guests the ability to participate in monastic life for a small donation to the Church.
Kildoran, Daltmur
- Kildoran, Daltmur- a rustic partial village albergo diffuso set in the high plains of Daltmur. Kildoran was a village built around a railroad coaling station that was abandoned by the railroad in the 1920s. The village limped along with a fledgling horse breeding business until it filed for bankruptcy in 1982. The town had 3 residents when BurgunArms bought 16 of the 22 buildings in town. The hotel offers a variety of horseback excursions and lessons, as well as spas, a corporate retreat and conference center. Haddock Palacin is the Town Administrator. Because of his connection, the albergo diffuso is sometimes called Haddock's Paddock.
Saalrau, Faramount
- Saalrau, Faramount- a whole village resort albergo diffuso set on the coast of the Sea of Istroya in eastern Faramount. Saalrau has long been a small fishing village specializing in sea bass until larger industrial fishing companies put most of the fishermen out of business. The last resident left town in 2006 and BurgunArms took eminent domain of the municipality in 2020. Reconstitution of the buildings and infrastructure took about 5 years but in 2026 the seaside resort opened to full bookings. The hotel offers a private beach, seaside weddings, pools, lively nightlife, beach bonfires on Saturdays, and hosts a closed track for urban bicycle racing. Haddock Palacin is the Mayor-Prefect of Saalrau.
