The Burgo-Darian Mercantile Port Corporation is an international development investment bank based in al-Shindreef, Pursat, founded in 1913. It is owned and operated by Burgoignesc interests but is solely focused investing in commerce and infrastructure in the Daria region of Audonia. It is the primary mechanism through which Burgundie reinstituted itself in Daria in the 20th century and wrestled back influence from Faneria, who had stepped in after the collapse of the Burgoignesc colonial empire in the mid 19th century. By the time of Operation Kipling (1960s-80s), through the actions and investments of the Burgo-Darian Mercantile Port Corporation, Burgundie was considered the pre-eminent Levantine influence in Daria.

Throughout the 20th century the Burgo-Darian Mercantile Port Corporation was much maligned throughout Daria, contributing to the Global Burgieman conspiracies, but in the 21st century, through guidance by the Palacin family, the royal family of Burgundie, the Corporation has been focused on the creation of a healthy middle class in all Darian nations.

Foreign investments

Burgo-Darian Mercantile Port Corporation has operations in 8 countries, with a network of 41 ports by 2036. These include ports in Battganuur, Bulkh, Kandara, Pukhgundi, Pursat, Tapakdore, Umardwal, and Yanuban.

AMY-Gerin-Lajoie Contract Maintenance Plant

The AMY-Gerin-Lajoie Contract Maintenance Plant is a Burgo-Darian Mercantile Port Corporation funded manufacturing plant in Bulkh that is a joint venture by AMY from Yonderre and Gerin-Lajoie Weaponeering from Burgundie to manufacture parts to support and sustain the arms contracts that those countries maintain with armies in Daria. The plant is also used by the Army of Burgundie and the Army of Yonderre as an alternate production facility in the event of a national emergency.

The AMY-Gerin-Lajoie plant's operational capabilities extend far beyond simple maintenance. It functions as a comprehensive military-industrial hub, driving indigenous defense production in Daria. This includes facilitating limited technology transfer and fostering a skilled workforce capable of manufacturing critical components for a wide array of military systems created by Levantine Union (LU) partners and sold across Daria. This serves to bolster the strength of Levantine military contracts and to made military contracts with external suppliers particularly Caphiria's Quicksilver Industries comparatively more expensive, strengthens Darian nations' defense industrial base, and enhances supply chain resilience. The facility is equipped to conduct extensive refurbishment and upgrade programs, extending the service life of existing military platforms. This allows Darian nations to optimize their defense budgets and maintain operational readiness without the expense of procuring entirely new equipment, particularly those of non-LU nations. The plant also possesses a secure section dedicated to ammunition production, which makes everything from small arms rounds to advanced missile warheads. It even has the capacity for the demilitarization of obsolete munitions, mitigating potential environmental and human hazards. Complementing these capabilities is an integrated logistics and warehousing network, inventory management network, and distribution and fulfillment center.
