Burgo-Tierradorian relations define the bilateral national relationship between the Tierradorian Woqalate and the Burgoignesc Thalattocracy. Burgundie was one of the first Occidental nations to interact with Tierrador, making first contact in 1427. From that point on, Burgoignesc traders had indirectly influenced the early modern economy of Tierrador, along with considerable influence on Tierrador's defense forces, specifically in the naval aspect.
For most of the countries' modern history, Tierrador and Burgundie have enjoyed fair relations with each other, with the exceptions of the Sudmoll Islands Conflict from 1934 to 2022, and the Salmon Wars from 1996 to 2003.
History
In Audonia
Tierrador has cooperated with Burgundie for influence over former Burgoignesc colonies in Audonia. Tierrador maintains allied relations with Umardwal, Tapakdore, Pukhgundi, Bulkh, and Battganuur, while maintaining friendly relations with Yanuban, Syliria, Pursat, and Kandara. All of these nations have seen some sort of economic and cultural influence from Tierrador since the beginning of the 20th century. In 1939, the Qabóri-Audonian Employment Program (QAEP) was established in collaboration with the centuries-old Audonia-Tierrador Trade Corporation (ATTC). The QAEP was mainly used as a "second-chance" for Tierradorians who were convicted of a non-violent felony but sentenced to more than five years in prison. By 1940, 350 inmates from Tierrador and Ceylonia had been sent to Umardwal, and were hired by mostly construction and mining companies. In the following decade, the QAEP quickly expanded their operations to Tapakdore and Pukhgundi, and had quadrupled their employee base to 1,400 by 1951. Around this time began a steady decline in Tierradorian global outreach, as Grand Marshal Pedro Kintón began limiting the country's foreign policy to within South Crona. Nevertheless, ATTC and the QAEP thrived in southwest Audonia after the QAEP allowed for non-felons to join the program in 1954.
By 1960, the QAEP had expanded operations to Pursat and Bulkh, after seeing a massive boom in the employee base. However, as communism was becoming more popular in the region and was the ideology behind many attacks against Qabóri workers, the Imperial Government had grown more apathetic towards the region, and began limiting ATTC's operations within the area. In 1966, the QAEP's employee base had stagnated at around 3,600 workers. Around that time, many Qabóri-based contractors began leaving rural areas in Umardwal in favor of larger cities, such as Asrabad, due to the instability of such areas brought upon by the communists. Kintón acted almost a decade late to Operation Kipling despite the South Cronan workers who were in some of the conflict's hotspots, due to complications arising from the Mosquito War. In 1972, much to the dismay of the Tierradorian public, Kintón deployed 6,000 TDF personnel to northern Umardwal to assist the Liberty Coalition, made up of Burgundie, Urcea, and Alstin. Despite the conflicts over Sudmoll, Tierrador and Burgundie shared a common interest in Audonia, and were willing to cooperate for domination of the continent's southwestern region.
A total of 35,000 Tierradorian troops were deployed to Umardwal, Tapakdore, and Pukhgundi. To better organize the troops that were deployed, the TDF Umardwal/Tapakdore Command was established in 1972, and still operates today as the TDF Unified Audonia Command. By the end of Operation Kipling, Tierrador had withdrawn its troops from Audonia due to complications arising back in South Crona leading to the Cowboy Crisis. Nevertheless, many Tierradorian companies resumed operations in Audonia, assisting in reconstruction efforts and economic recovery. In 1993, Tierrador and Burgundie had funded a nationwide rail network for both Umardwal and Tapakdore under the Umardo-Tapakdori National Rail (UTNR) system. Eventually, UTNR would expand operations to Pukhgundi along with different parts of Bulkh and Battganuur.
